Eligibility Criteria

Requisite Qualification & Experience are as follows:

Professor Under 62 years of Minimum Eighteen Years of Post Ph.D. Experience with a proven record of academic excellence, leadership in a recognized university, teaching & research, commercialization, innovation, & linkages with industry as well as local/international universities, preferably in the fields of engineering sciences & technology. Previous experience in a similar position will be an additional advantage.

Experience in Strategic Planning at the Senior management level, preferably in engineering disciplines in the Higher Education Context.

A Reasonable number of research publications (Minimum 15 Impact Factor Publication).

Should Possess a Good Understanding of Research, Innovation, Commercialization, Industrial linkages, & accreditation requirements of various National / International Councils / Bodies.

Should be Familiar with the process of curriculum development & revision.
