·       Propose issue of guidelines/circulars/directives on various aspects relating to the fund management industry to address any gaps and ensure effectiveness of regulations.

·       Carryout research on different regulatory issues pertaining to fund management Industry

·       Supervise processing of application for establishment of Non-Banking Finance Companies (NBFCs) and for issuance of Licenses to NBFCs.

·       Supervise processing of application seeking approval of constitutive documents (trust deed, offering document) of collective investment schemes, VPS, Securities and Future Advisors and Investment Advisors.

·       Supervise applications for appointment of Directors/CEO are proposed on the basis of the fitness & propriety criteria stipulated in the regulatory framework.

·       Supervise timely processing of the applications requiring various regulatory approval in terms of NBFC Rules, 2003, VPS Rules, 2005, Securities and Future Advisors Regulations, 2017 and NBFC & NE regulations 2008.

·       Coordination and interaction with stake holders for development of the industry

·       Stay abreast of the international best practices associated with the mutual funds industry and perform tasks as assigned by the senior management, pertaining to aspects such as product innovation, risk management, valuation of securities, marketing and distribution of products, etc.

·       CA/CMA/ ACCA/Actuary

Preference will be given to CFA and/or FRM qualified candidates.

·       Minimum Twelve (12) years of post-qualification experience for Director.

·       In case of qualified chartered accountant, Articleship will be considered as part of requisite experience for the above-mentioned post.

·       In case of CFAs and/or FRMs with the relevant industry experience, relaxation of up-to 2 years will be allowed.

·       Maximum 50 years on the last date of submission of application for Director.
